The Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association (BCCA) held a Special General Meeting last Friday evening (8 September) at the Bexleyheath Conservative Club.
The meeting was necessary because of the new Parliamentary boundary changes, which will take effect at the next General Election. The new constituency realigns with local Government wards implemented in 2018 and means that the entirety of the West Heath and Northumberland Heath wards will now be in Bexleyheath and Crayford.
The Association’s President, Mark Brooks OBE, Chaired the meeting and updated members on the work BCCA has done so far this year. Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford then gave an update on national issues, with the meeting concluding with a local update from Cllr Baroness Teresa O’Neill OBE, Leader of Bexley Council.
