The Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association held their AGM last Friday (15 March) at the Bexleyheath Conservative Club in the Broadway, Bexleyheath.
The Association’s President, Mark Brooks OBE DLitt, was in the Chair for the well-attended meeting. Members received reports from the Association Officers on the work they have done over the last year, as well as Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford and Cllr Baroness O’Neill OBE, Leader of Bexley Council.
Sir David spoke about current political issues, including the recent Budget, immigration and the Rwanda Bill, and the NHS. He then updated members on his constituency work and visits before taking some questions. Baroness Cllr O’Neill of Bexley then informed members about the work the Council have been doing during the last year.
