Bexleyheath Ward Conservatives held a fundraising and social sparkling afternoon tea on Saturday 28th July at the Bexleyheath home of their Ward Councillor Sue Gower MBE.
Under summer sunshine and blue sky members and guests enjoyed sandwiches, cakes, champagne and soft drinks in the lovely garden. Cllr. Sue Gower MBE who hosted the event was assisted by her fellow Councillor Eileen Pallen. There was also the traditional Conservative Party raffle.
Among those attending the well supported function were - Rt.Hon. Sir David Evennett MP, his wife Marilyn Lady Evennett, Conservative Association Chairman Mark Brooks, Bexley Council Leader Cllr. Teresa O’Neill OBE, Deputy Leader Cllr. Louie French and Cllr. Brad Smith.
After a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon, Sue thanked everyone for attending and helping to raise funds for the local Conservative Association.
