Rt Hon Justine Greening MP, Secretary of State for Education, was the guest speaker at the Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association Annual Dinner held on Thursday 27 October at Stuzzichini restaurant in Bexleyheath.
At the sell-out event members enjoyed a two course meal, followed by coffee, a fundraising raffle, and the opportunity to meet and chat with the Secretary of State.
Justine then spoke about what inspired her to get into in politics, her role as Secretary of State, and the Government's programme for education. She then answered questions from guests. After the speech, Association Chairman Simon Windle gave the vote of thanks.
Among those in attendance were Rt Hon David Evennett MP and his wife Marilyn, GLA Member Gareth Bacon, Kent Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott, and local Councillors.
