Rt Hon Karen Bradley MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, was the guest speaker at the Bexleyheath and Crayford Ladies Luncheon. The event was held at the Bexleyheath Conservative Club on Thursday 29 September.
The Cabinet Minister spoke of her new role and responsibilities, which include the BBC, sport, tourism, and heritage. She praised the fantastic results in Rio for our Olympian and Paralympian athletes and the great importance of sport for health, enjoyment, and our economy. After her speech, she answered questions from members.
Among the other guests at the lunch were Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, Matthew Scott, Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent, Sophie Stratton, London Area CWO Chairman, and Local Councillors. The vote of thanks was given by Maureen King before a fundraising raffle was held.
