The service on Southeastern trains this week has been extremely poor, partly caused by the newly introduced timetable, but also as a result of signal failures and the closure of Cannon Street station.
Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has received a large number of complaints from constituents in respect of this matter. He has raised concerns with Southeastern, Network Rail, and the Rail Minister, Paul Maynard MP.
Mr Evennett commented: “Southeastern have to do better as commuters suffer yet again. Delays, congestion and poor service are all too common.
“Apologies are just not good enough, and I will continue to pursue these matters on behalf of my constituents and fellow commuters.”
