David Evennett, Conservative Party candidate for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has welcomed the Conservative Party manifesto and the promises made within it. He commented: "the next five years will be challenging, and getting the best possible Brexit deal is key to our prosperity. However, we also need strong and stable leadership to make the most of the challenges that lie beyond, and with this manifesto we will build a stronger, more prosperous Britain that works for everyone."
"A Conservative Government will provide more money for schools every year and ensure a good school place for every child, keep taxes low with a higher National Living Wage, and cap rip-off energy bills. I also welcome the commitments on immigration, housing and proper rights and protections at work, as well as the first ever proper plan to pay for and provide social care."
"Our country faces huge challenges in the coming years and the Forward, Together manifesto outlines our plans for a global Britain and to restore the contract between generations that provides security for older people while being fair to the young."
