Rev. Joe Hogarth celebrated the 50th Anniversary of his Ordination with a Mass on Corpus Christi day on Thursday evening (15/6) at St. Paulinus Church in Crayford where he still serves as Associate Priest.
Joe and his wife Kitty came from the North East of England where they served throughout his Ministry before retiring to Crayford 20 years ago to be near their son Andrew. Rev. Joe officiated at the service and preached the sermon. He talked about his career, his family and the important role for the church in todays troubled world.
Rt.Hon. David Evennett MP and his wife Marilyn and Curate Rev. James Crockford were among the many friends, family and church congregation at the anniversary service. Afterwards there was an opportunity to socialise and chat over refreshments.
