Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has urged the Home Secretary to think again on the proposal to award a contract for the printing of the new blue passports post-Brexit to a French-Dutch company.
“I believe our passports should be made by a British company and I have therefore raised my concerns, as well as the concerns of my constituents, with the Home Secretary to request that she reviews this decision.”
