Peter is married to Irene and has 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He's lived in Bexleyheath for all but five years of his life and for the last 15 years in the West Heath Ward.

Peter is a professional accountant in practise for 40 years until his recent retirement, and is a qualified member of the Institute of Financial Accountants. As a member of Bexley Council since 2006 his interest in serving the wider community is reflected in continuous service on the Planning Committee and Peoples Scrutiny with particular emphasis on Adult Services. He will continue to devote his time to addressing all issues of concern to residents he represents.

In Peter's spare time he collects books on medieval history and Science and still harbours hopes of completing his Natural Sciences degree with the Open University. He is also a long suffering supporter of Charlton Athletic.
